We invite founders, from the startups that we have personally backed, to share 1% of their founder stock into the fund.
We expect one large exit and a couple smaller exits to come from this pool that should generate several million dollars.
Each time an exit occurs, we divide the cash equally across the founders, who will be able to make a donation in their name.
From our vetted selection of hundreds of nonprofits we present a customized list of 3-5 nonprofits to each member.
We hope that each founder will be able to make several meaningful donations from this pool over the next few years.
